Every year Children’s Day is celebrated across India in the memory of our first Prime Minister Pdt. Jawahar Lal Nehru whose immense love for children is known world-wide.It also celebrates the importance of protecting the rights of our little ones. To make children feel special this year The HDFC School, Bengaluru, celebrated Children’s Day with full zeal and zest.
The celebration started with a special programme by Grade 3 B students. The children were treated to a melodious medley of songs followed by a colourful dance performance by their teachers and the event pulsated with excitement and a mood of celebration with a captivating story telling performance on “The Magical Life of Harry Houdini” put up by the English teachers for their beloved students.
The day came to a close with the special wishes by the Principal and the School Captain Ananya Iyer proposed a vote of thanks and applauded the teachers for all the efforts taken to put up the show.
On the whole the students enjoyed the fun filled day. At The HDFC School, every child means the world to us!
