This interactive event featured a mock press conference where students engaged with Ms. Saltanat Mehmood Kazi from The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), Bengaluru. The session~s focus, “Beating Plastic Pollution: The Role of Youth,” offered students a platform to ask questions directly to the chief guest, encouraging them to think critically about plastic pollution and the steps youth can take to combat it.

The students found the experience thrilling and insightful, gaining a deeper understanding of plastic pollution’s impacts and exploring innovative solutions. They also learned about the ways in which schools could lead by example and strive to become plastic-free zones.
