This year the Father’s Day celebration at The HDFC school was a lively and extremely joyous event for our children and their adored fathers. A wide range of activities were planned in great detail for the little ones and their fathers on this special day. Children of Nursery enjoyed playing a game of ‘Guess the Rhyme’ with their fathers and their innocent hands crafted a beautiful photo frame.
The blooming buds of the LKG and UKG and their fathers made a very interesting craft with a touching message for the fathers. They made refreshing lemonade and sandwiches and played a game of Indoor Scavenger Hunt too! The fun did not end here as they were also made to build steady tumbler towers. Lastly, the fathers were blindfolded and had to dress up their children in the assigned attire within a given time limit.
The session wound up with the kids talking about their treasured dads. Before winding up the teachers had a surprise video played for their little ones, which was full of lovely memories.
The day highlighted the bond between the kids and their fathers. A saying that goes, “Some superheroes don’t wear capes, they are called Dad”, was proved true in the most fun-filled and enjoyable way.
