Description :
“Nation First, Always First.”
As India celebrated 76 years of being Independent with pride and honour, The HDFC School, Bengaluru paid homage to the country with much vigour and enthusiasm. The occasion was graced by NB Sub. Y Srinivas, an Indian Army Veteran, who has served the country at various critical locations with patriotic fervour.
As the National Flag was hoisted and the encore of our Anthem sung, it ushered in the possibilities of a wonderful future that lies wide awake for the promising younger generation of our country.
The students of our school participated in a number of cultural displays showcasing the true spirit of love for the country through patriotic songs and dances representing our unity in cultural diversity. Our Principal Ms Parvathy Seshadri’s message to the students to strive towards excellence ran ripples of renewed confidence among the audience.
As people of this beautiful country we must remember to forever uphold the integrity of our nation while contributing to its growth and development. It is our duty to instil in our youngsters the values of service and sacrifice towards all beings as it is through selfless endeavours that one really grows in life.
With much gratitude on this day we honoured our past, celebrated our present and pledged to create a promising future for each other upholding the principles that make India a great country to live in.
