The HDFC School, Bengaluru, hosted its much-anticipated Annual Day for students from Nursery to Grade IV with great enthusiasm and grandeur. This year’s theme, The Golden Ticket: A Journey to the World of Magic, was inspired by Roald Dahl’s timeless classic, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, immersing the audience in a world of wonder, creativity, and imagination.
The esteemed Chief Guest for the occasion was Dr K G Jagdeesha, CEO of the Coffee Board, Government of Karnataka, and a distinguished former Commissioner of School Education. His presence added immense value to the event, inspiring students and parents alike.
The evening began on a traditional note with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing knowledge and enlightenment. This was followed by a soulful performance by the
school choir and instrumental band, setting a harmonious tone for the celebration. The Invocation Dance beautifully captured the essence of grace and reverence, leaving the audience mesmerized.
The highlight of the evening was the theatrical adaptation of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, brought to life by the young performers. The students enthralled the audience with their vibrant dance performances, captivating storytelling, and lively enactments. Every child from Nursery to Grade IV participated with enthusiasm, making it a truly inclusive and memorable experience.
The Principal presented the Annual School Report, highlighting the institution’s achievements, milestones, and the holistic growth of its students over the past year.
The celebration concluded with a spectacular Grand Finale, where all the young performers came together for a dazzling closing act, filling the auditorium with joy, applause, and an air of festivity.
