All about the Hospitality Industry
“Knowledge to Awareness”, an initiative by The HDFC School, Bengaluru,
for the students of Grades VI to IX aims to provide them a glimpse and exposure to the myriad career
opportunities so that they are aware and can make informed choices about their careers.
On Friday, 22 April, 2022, The HDFC School Bengaluru organized the ‘Knowledge To Awareness’
session with the distinguished faculty members from Institute of Hotel Management, Bengaluru. Mr Ranajoy,
Ms Anjali and Mr Naick graced the event with their knowledgeable and experienced discussion and presentation.
The wide variety of responsibilities that one can master in this field of Hotel Management was
shared with the keen students of our school.
The curious students had many queries with respect to prospective challenges, increments and opportunities
one can expect if one chooses the Hospitality Industry as a career option. These questions were met with
informative answers and appropriate responses that cleared all the doubts and questions that the students might have.
This wonderful session was the most thrilling way for the school to wind up the school activities before
the much awaited summer holidays. The students not only learnt something new, exciting and fascinating but
they also had a great time during the interaction.
