It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words; for it encompasses in itself a wide range of emotions, expressions, colors, scenarios and so much more. Even a monochromatic picture is uniquely expressively and sublime.
To celebrate the magic that pictures can weave and leave a spectator spellbound without uttering even a syllable; 19th August is celebrated as ‘World Photography Day’ to revisit the subtle art of photography.
At The HDFC School, the students were given various themes to capture in a frame and they did the assigned task with aplomb. Photographs were taken by students on Emotions, Family, Architecture, City Life, and much more artistically decorated each classroom wall.
Much like a painting, a photograph tells a story and shares with the audience a connection that can last a lifetime to open the same avenue and vision among our learners we simplistically glorified World Photography Day and gave them the platform to present to us their artistic vision.
