Description :
“We are not makers of history; we are made by history.”
Excursions are the best way to experience and develop a child’s confidence as they are able to explore and begin to understand the real world. Historical places are the travel cove of information. As the part of Inquisitive Explorer club, The HDFC School, Bengaluru had arranged an excursion for the students of Grades VI to X on Tuesday, 23 August 2022. The students got an opportunity to visit Bangalore Palace and go beyond the boundaries of the school to learn about the history around them.
As it is rightly said that “Not all classrooms have walls”, we truly believe in experiential learning. Keeping that in mind, students were exposed to new experiences and observed new things such as the beauty of the palace, decorated walls, and rare facts about the palace’s amarvelousous architecture. The beauty of the palace and the garden around the palace were mesmerizing. After having a tour inside the palace, students enjoyed spending time in the garden and having lunch with their fellow friends. Students left the premises with lovely memories that they will cherish for their lifetime.
