Karnataka Rajyotsava

67th Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated with great enthusiasm at The HDFC School, Bengaluru on the 9 November, 2022.

The program began by invoking God’s blessings by the school choir. Students showcased their talent and exhibited their love for their beloved state, by enthusiastically participating in a festive celebration.

In appreciation to the state festival, the students depicted the warrior, Onake Obavva who fought the forces of Hyder Ali single-handedly with a pestle in the kingdom of Chitradurga of Karnataka. The amazing facts about Karnataka added to the knowledge of the audience. The students were able to spread the fragrance of a folk story - Punyakoti through a dance drama which left the audience spellbound.

Our dear Principal, Mrs. Parvathy Seshadri, mentioned that it’s a day to remember the golden heritage of our state and felt proud to be a part of Karnataka.

The event generated a sense of pride in the minds of the audience, for being part of a culture that is so rich and vibrant. The program concluded with the vote of thanks. The event truly captured the spirit of the day.
