Grandparents day

“Grandparents, like heroes, are as necessary to a child~s growth as vitamins.”

Grandparents are a family~s greatest treasure, the founders of a loving legacy, the greatest storytellers, and the keepers of traditions. Grandparents are a family~s strong foundation. Their special love and care, hold the family together. The superheroes without a cape in the child’s holistic development play a major role in bringing them the values and morals in one’s life.

To remember their sacrifices and to honour them The HDFC school, Bengaluru, celebrated Grandparents Day on Friday, 2 December, 2022 , across the grades from Nursery to UKG.

The event started with a warm welcome from the class teachers. The children performed songs and dances to show their love and respect towards them. The children made a surprise card for their beloved grandparents. The school had arranged fun games and activities for the grandparents along with their grandchildren. The general mood was one of exultation and all were truly happy. It was a successful event indeed!
