ROAD SAFETY WORKSHOP ON 18, JANUARY 2023
“Balance is not something you find it’s something you create.”
Taking control of one’s actions and striking a balance amidst the chaos is not always easy, it takes mindful effort, mental strength, and practice.
And moreover, the first step of change is to have proper awareness.
To reiterate the fact that life is precious and should be audaciously protected, The HDFC School, Bengaluru organized a workshop on ‘Road Safety’ on 18 January,
2023 in the school premises for the students of grades III to V. The students were enlightened by the dignitary, Mr. Chandra Shekar, Sub-inspector of traffic police,
Yelahanka, Bengaluru who explained the different aspects of road safety in detail along with informative infographics.
The enthusiasm of our students to learn about the safety driving gear, cautionary signs, mandatory signs, warning signs, road accident data,
and informative sign boards on road in an interactive way was indeed palpable. But what was really heartening was to see that students not
only learned about the must and must not of road safety but sincerely initiated the promise to insist on road safety habits to their parents as well.
