A career counselling session for Grade IX students and their parents was held in our school on 28 January, 2023. The objective of this interaction was
to introduce the students to a plethora of opportunities awaiting them and to make calculated choices towards a successful and happy life.
This session was conducted by Dr Ali Khwaja, Founder and Director, Banjara Academy.
Dr Ali explained how students should choose their right career path; avoid any peer pressure or familial pressure and instead focus on their own
long term goal in life, driven by their own passion. He suggested that students do a thorough research on the career they would like to choose and
also develop the requisite skills. He also stressed upon the fact that it is important for students to stay in touch with diverse fields and information
sources and only then make the right decision.
Dr Ali reiterated the fact that “there is no such thing as ideal career with the best scope. So if you choose your course of study and
your career based on what you are good at then you will always be successful.”
Students as well as parents had a wonderful opportunity to interact with Dr. Ali and to get their questions answered.
This session definitely provided our students with the much-needed motivation and guidance to start planning in the right direction of choosing a successful career.
