ALIEN - STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAMME

Curiosity is a powerful force and it leads us to look beyond the horizon. As a part of our Interdisciplinary Project, at The HDFC School, Bengaluru, our students of Grade III performed a role play. Our topic was Space Odyssey, and our students put up a virtual show on the theme, ‘Alien-student Exchange Program’.

The many stories, films, and books about aliens fueled the curiosity about aliens amongst the students. They were excited to be a part of the role play. The main aim was to focus on their critical thinking and collaborative learning which helped students understand the concept of student exchange, life on earth and other planets.

One student dressed up as an alien was welcomed by students with many cultural programmes such as – special poem for the alien, dance, instrumental music, speech about earth, and it was concluded by students asking series of fun and interesting questions to know about the life of an alien on other planet. Students visibly looked excited and overall the session was fun indeed!
