On 12th July 2024, students of grade III, along with their class teachers, visited the R.K Laxman Museum Balewadi.
The staff of the museum gave a brief introduction about the R.K. Laxman Museum?which is a unique art museum dedicated to the lifelong work of the legendary cartoonist, Shri R.K. Laxman. The students visited in batches to the various rooms which showcased the iconic creations of R.K. Laxman, including his famous “Common Man” character. The miniature model based on village Malgudi, a room dedicated to a feature ‘a day in the life of Laxman’ and a wax statue which is like a true life appearance of R.K. Laxman is worth watching. The concept of braille for visually impaired visitors in the museum showcased an inclusive environment.
It was an amazing experience for the students as they took down their notes about the museum.
