The Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell in coordination with AICTE launched the Smart India Hackathon Junior 2022.
Thousands of schools participated in this program.
The main theme of the program was to promote students’ talent and to generate out-of-the-box ideas. 525 ideas were shortlisted for the screening round and finally, there were 5 winners for 16 themes of the Smart India Hackathon.
We are proud to announce that the students of The HDFC School Pune are the winners of the Smart India Hackathon Junior edition 2022 under the team heritage and culture.
Students of grade IX Jodhajit Chowdhury, Saanvi Mishra, and Sriansh Pulipaka who were ably guided by their mentors Aarti Bhujbal, Surabhi Agarwal Smriti Maurya, and Amrita Srivastava, proposed an app named Digital Sanskritik Manch that promotes India’s culture and heritage by providing an android app that showcases culture and heritage of India. The main theme was to promote the handicraft and cottage industry in the remote villages of India and showcase them to the world and promote business opportunities for people in rural India.
