Show and Tell is an important part of child’s learning development as it helps them build confidence at early age. It is also a great way to develop and encourage child’s interest in a particular topic and give them a chance to think outside of the box.
The HDFC School Pune organized a show and tell activity in the month of June 2021 for UKG kids on the topic of “Food Groups” to ensure that eating a variety of foods keeps the meals interesting and flavorful. The activity ensures to strengthen their knowledge on the variety of foods children eat daily. In this activity the UKG kids took center stage and spoke on different food groups and food types which enabled them to enhance their communication skills.
The students used different props to dress up as a particular food group, food item and imparted us with knowledge on the topic .The charts prepared by children added to the beauty of this event. This activity conducted by The HDFC School was a spectacular learning experience for the kids as they shared importance of food groups and balanced diet with other class mates and Teachers. This activity helped to establish healthy eating habits and nutritional knowledge which is very essential in all growth stages.
With this activity the kids surely gave a strong message for all of us
