Representatives from a diverse range of universities and colleges were available to provide information, answer questions, and guide students on potential academic paths. The HDFC School students of Grade 8 are all geared up for the Pune History festival.They had visited Mahadji Shinde Chhatri and Karla Bhaja Caves to gain a first hand experience of its history and importance. On basis of their exposure students had started their work. The model making of Mahadji Shinde and Karla Bhaja Caves showcases Maharashtra's rich historical and architectural heritage. Mahadji Shinde, an influential Maratha statesman, is represented through intricate models that capture the grandeur of his era and his contributions to the Maratha Empire. The Karla and Bhaja Caves, ancient Buddhist rock-cut caves dating back to 2nd century BCE, are renowned for their remarkable carvings, stupas, and pillars. Model makers recreate these caves with precision, highlighting their unique features like the chaitya halls and intricate sculptures. These models serve as educational tools, preserving and celebrating cultural history.

Students of The HDFC SCHOOL Pune are geared up for Pune History Festival- Education Through Monuments.

This festival is a cultural exhibition for studying Pune’s history, its monuments through a multidisciplinary approach.

The 2 day festival includes, cultural interdisciplinary exhibits of important monuments from Pune, inter school competitions on various themes show casing the vivid history of Pune and its monuments.

, students of Grade UKG showcased their talents in the first interdisciplinary project, "Rangeelo Maro Des " celebrating the diversity of India. Kids performed beautifully, representing states like Gujarat, Maharashtra, Kerala, and Punjab through traditional dances and skits. From Gujarati Garba to Punjabi Bhangra, the students impressed everyone with their enthusiasm and grace. Teachers and parents joined in the spirit of the event, dressing up in stunning traditional attire, adding colour and vibrancy to the occasion through their mashup performance.

The event was a lively display of cultural pride, unity, and creativity, making it a memorable day for all.

The HDFC School ,Pune offered the students of Grades III to V an ideal opportunity to engage themselves in an effective integration of the project based learning along with the regular curriculum. The Interdisciplinary Project(IDP) event was held on the 9th and 10th of October 2024 in the school premises. Our theme being 'Heritage of Hindustan' actually took the audience through the mesmerizing gallery of customs, traditions, delicacies, monuments, costumes and significance of all our states. The students showcased their talents through their beautiful projects. The efforts of the students were well appreciated by the faculty and the parents.

The students across grade VI - VIII of The HDFC School Pune presented their Annual Interdisciplinary Project which provides them a 360 degree learning through the prism of each and every subject. They showed their varying talents with great enthusiasm and fervour. Our young minds took the audience on an extraordinary journey into the realm of sustainability specifically focusing on the SDG goals that affects each and everyone of us in our daily lives -

The joy of the students of preprimary wing of The Hdfc School, Pune was unparalled as the Nursery students went to showcase their stage performance through IDP.IDP stands for Interdisciplinary Project, wherein children present a theme as a team where they collaborate and coordinate with each other. It plays an important role in boosting listening, critical thinking and public speaking skills. Theme for Nursery was Fruits & Vegetables.

The parents kept cheering for their children’s performance and also participated enthusiastically in all the activities. The parents created lovely props for the youngsters, which contributed to the event's attractiveness. The presentation witnessed the unfurling of the manifold talents of the spirited children who won the hearts of the audience with their oratory prowess and confident presentation.

The "Best out of Waste" competition, conducted on Friday, 3rd March 2023, in UKG brought together little hands and imaginative minds in a creative burst of energy. The goal of the competition was to teach the kids the importance of recycling and reusing waste in protecting the environment.

Amazing concepts were displayed using items like newspaper, old CDs, plastic bottles, ropes, ice cream sticks, and shoe boxes among others. Students displayed their creative art and craft ideas in making the best project. They made working model of water purifier, photo frames, pen stand etc. The creativity displayed by the children was mesmerizing. The competition promoted artistic fervour in our leaders of the 21st century.

The HDFC school, Gurgaon | Joyful farewell to its batch of 2022-23.

The Interdisciplinary Project Presentation is the one of the most awaited events in the school where each and every student participates and gets a chance to showcase their talents and creativity.

The Interdisciplinary Project Presentation for grades Nursery and LKG was held on 23rd and 24th February 2023 in School Premises where all the parents of the concerned grades were cordially invited to witness the program. All the projects were made in school under supervision of respective teachers. It was a remarkable event and was enhanced by the appreciation by the parents.

Webinar on Actuarial Science
An informative and awareness webinar on Actuarial Science was conducted for Grade XI and XII by the The Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI). The speaker Mr. Mohan Bhatia (Executive Director of IAI) talked about Actuary and the exams conducted for this position.

An actuary is a person qualified to calculate financial and commercial impact and valuation of uncertainty and risk of future events by using advanced techniques and models based on future scenarios under financial, economic, social, demographic, technology and probabilistic situations.

We are proud to announce that The HDFC School, Pune has been successful in gaining the prestigious award British Council, International Dimension in Schools certification for the year 2022-25. The Annual Certification Ceremony for enriching the component of international learning was held Virtually on 23rd March 2022.

Seven projects on diverse topics were undertaken by the school as part of the IDS programme.These activities not only involved students and teachers from various segments of the school, but also enabled the participants to evolve into better defined personalities, intellectually and emotionally more conscious of their responsibility as global citizens.

A wonderful combination of two worlds – ‘The Republic Day’ and ‘The HDFC School’s First Annual Sports Day,’ marked its red letter day on 26 January 2019. This historical day in The HDFC School, Pune was celebrated with great pride as students of Lezim Drill, drilled to the fusion of traditional and western beats of the song and gave a traditional vibrant welcome to the chief guest. The revered Chief Guest Mr Rajeev Sardana then hoisted the national flag and thereafter the school choir raised their voices in unison for National Anthem which was followed by a melodious rendition of patriotic songs to render tribute and gratitude to our great mother India. The Annual Sports Day marked its eminence as the youngest toddlers felicitated the chief guest for the day Mr. Rajeev Sardana, Director of HDFC Education and guest of honours, Mr Dilip Apte, Trustee, The HDFC School, Pune and Mrs. Anita Makkar, Education Leader and Principal, The HDFC School, Gurugram, Mr Anjan Joshi and Mr Prasad Lonare, Sub Inspector of The Hadapsar Police Station.
