Description :
“Through the art of declamation, we not only preserve the richness of the Hindi language but also empower voices to articulate thoughts with clarity and conviction, fostering a culture of eloquence and expression.”
The HDFC School, Gurgaon organized an Inter House Hindi Declamation Competition. This competition played a pivotal role in shaping the talents showcased by the students of Middle School. Hindi declamation holds significant importance in today’s world as it fosters effective communication and cultural preservation. By engaging in declamation, individuals enhance their public speaking skills, confidence and ability to articulate thoughts clearly. It also promotes the rich heritage of the Hindi language, ensuring its continued relevance in a globalized society.
Furthermore, declamation competitions encourage critical thinking and creativity, allowing participants to express their views on contemporary issues. In an era where digital communication often lacks depth, Hindi declamation provides a platform for meaningful discourse and celebration of linguistic diversity.
This competition was organized for the students of Grade VI to VIII on August 30, 2024. It was a vibrant event designed to celebrate the boundless creativity, wit and enthusiasm of our explicable young learners. The content shared by the active minds was far beyond appreciation as they employed every word into language so creatively that it seemed like pearls of wisdom flowing over the lapping river.
The mesmerizing performances of Chandrakshi Singh (VII A-Neer House), Saanibh Malhotra (VII B- Neer House), Fiona Singh (VII D- Vasundhra House) and Arshpreet Singh (VIII B- Neer House) left the audience spellbound and motivated the HDFCians to imbibe a spirit of confidence and leadership.
