Description :
“Festivals are the heartbeat of traditions and communities.”
Festivals are gateways for children to explore culture, tradition, and showcase their artistic talents. At the pre-primary wing of The HDFC School, Gurgaon, the air buzzed with excitement as the little ones arrived dressed in vibrant and colorful attire, bringing a festive spirit to the occasion. The children’s eyes sparkled with joy as they participated in the day’s activities, which included listening to the enchanting tales of Lord Krishna’s childhood adventures.
Students showcased their creativity by decorating earthen pots, or matkis, with vibrant colors and glittering embellishments. To add to the festive cheer, they also shared sweets with their friends, representing the spirit of sharing and togetherness that Janmashtami symbolizes. The celebration also featured a delightful treat for the kids—maakhan, which they eagerly took home. The entire festivity was a jubilant fusion of cultural education and playful enjoyment, leaving everyone with smiles and happy memories.
