The students of Grade I and II at The HDFC school celebrated World Tourism Day by delving into G20 nations, exploring its culinary delights, culture, language, attire and famous landmarks.

The young performers of Grade I proudly showcased a vibrant array of dishes from India and around the world. The culinary spread featured international favourites like pasta, hummus with pita bread, and pancakes, alongside beloved Indian staples such as rajma chawal and roti churma. As the students savoured these diverse flavours, they shared fascinating insights into the cultural significance and origins of each dish, making the experience both educational and enjoyable.

Meanwhile, the students of Grade II donned the traditional attire of various G20 nations and shared intriguing facts about the famous foods, clothing, languages, and landmarks of countries like Saudi Arabia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, France, and China. Their presentations were brought to life with well-chosen props that vividly represented each culture, adding a dynamic touch to their performances.

This immersive experience allowed the students to creatively express their learning and share the rich heritage of each country, making the celebration both visually captivating and educational for everyone present. The celebration of World Tourism Day was filled with enthusiasm, as everyone gained valuable insights into the rich cultural diversity of different countries around the globe.

It was indeed a delightful experience for everyone involved!
