We are thrilled to announce that The HDFC School achieved outstanding success at Youth Ideathon 2024 by securing a spot in the top 100 nationwide. Youth Ideathon, India’s largest event for students from Classes 4 to 12, aims to inspire young minds to solve real-world challenges and transform their ideas into viable prototypes or marketable products.
This year, our school submitted nearly 70 ideas, with 8 teams advancing to the top 1500. Additionally, two teams reached the top 500 and were awarded ?1000 to develop their prototype models. One team achieved remarkable success by ranking in the top 100 out of over 5000 participating schools across the country. A total of 1.8 lakh students participated in the event.
The team "Flame Flush," consisting of Arjun Redhu, Aarav Verma, Yannam Kundu, and Arham Jain, developed an innovative prototype of a waterless toilet system, showcasing their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. Their extraordinary achievement earned them the honor of presenting at IIT Delhi, where they engaged with prominent industry leaders from Think Start-up, MEPSE, ESRI, SIDBI, and CBSE. The team received Top 100 India certificates and medals, gaining valuable real-world business experience and investment opportunities.
Moreover, discussions are currently ongoing with an investor to explore further improvements and implement the project.
