Inter-House Debate Event for Grades 6-8

On November 4, our students from Grades 6-8 showcased remarkable debating skills in a spirited inter-house competition. Tackling diverse and thought-provoking topics, they explored questions like, “Would the world be better if we had one universal language?” and “Is imagination more important than knowledge?” Each house presented both sides with passion and insight, while our interjectors challenged speakers with thoughtful questions.

Students delved into the role of empathy as a learned or natural trait, and whether stories of failure offer more valuable lessons than those of success. The event not only highlighted their speaking abilities but also fostered critical thinking and teamwork. A big congratulations to all participants for making it a truly engaging and memorable event!
