In this ever evolving world, there are a few constants. One such constant is the truth of the relationship between a
mother and a daughter. No matter how much we progress and advance, this relationship keeps transcending to adapt to
the changing needs of time. To celebrate this relationship, The HDFC School organised a special event for the mothers
and their daughters studying in grades V to X in our school, to sensitize them about the biology and psychology of
growing up, puberty and hygiene, positive body image, and dealing with the demands of the world to help our young girls
grow up into happy, healthy, and strong women of tomorrow. The session facilitated by our in-house medical officer and
school counsellor was warmly welcomed by all present and provided a platform for interaction. It helped moms to break the
ice and initiate conversations on the taboo topics with their young daughters.
