Each season and each day of the year has its own beauty. Resonating with
this beautiful spirit, The HDFC School, Gurgaon hosted “Symphony of
Seasons” for grades IV and V on 20 May 2022. A medley of music, dance
and yoga, this event highlighted the significance of changing seasons
during the year through various art forms.
The event commenced with a rendition of Beethoven’s ‘Ode to Joy’.
Through various dance forms, the children painted a perfect picture of
winter and monsoon. The audience was left enthralled when the students
sang raag Malhar. The western vocal group mesmerised everyone with
their ‘Sitting in the Summer Sun’ and ‘Flashlight’. Highlighting yoga
as the essence of physical and mental fitness, the students performed
yoga asanas displaying their flexibility.
It was heartening to see students back on stage, rocking the stage with
their magical performances. Their confidence, synchronization and skills
warmed every heart.
