The HDFC School aims to provide a platform to our students to develop their communication skills through a myriad of activities.
An Interhouse Declamation competition was organized for the students of grades III to V on 28 August, 2023. The students spoke on various topics such as Family: Building blocks of Love and Support, A Day without Electronic Gadgets, India of My Dreams, Diversity: Celebrating Our Differences and Books: A Gateway to Imagination. Under the mentorship of educators, the participants learnt the importance of body language, voice modulation and expressions to be an effective communicator.
Through their well-researched and impeccably presented speeches, the students mesmerized the audience with their art of oratory, eloquence, and prowess in elocution. The declamation activity helped students discover self-empowerment, cultivate empathy, and appreciate the importance of words that can shape the world.
