As Indians, we can never forget the struggles and sacrifices made by our freedom fighters to unshackle our country from the British Raj. To commemorate those who lived and breathed for India’s independence, The HDFC School, Gurgaon organized the ‘Unity in Diversity’ activity for grades I-II on 10 August 2022, where our little bundle of joys, donned up as eminent freedom fighters from our country, such as Bhagat Singh, Ram Prasad Bismil, Rani Laxmi Bai, and countless others.
It was an indelible experience because the event echoed the renowned personalities~ dialogues, sentiments, and brilliant enactment of them done by our students. We were awestruck by their effort in the performances and the intricate costumes they wore to represent their chosen fighters. In many ways, our students brought them back to life and filled the air with respect and immense gratitude. The goal of such activities is to acquaint the students with individuals who fought for India’s liberation. The HDFC school is convinced that its students have made all of our freedom fighters smile from the heavens.
