To hear a visionary leader speak is a moment to cherish for life. The HDFC School Gurgaon was elated to welcome Mr. Deepak Parekh, Chairman HDFC Ltd. who was here to inaugurate the new block which houses the multipurpose sports complex, swimming pool, squash room and the primary wing. It was a momentous occasion as we had the gracious presence of Ms. Renu Sud Karnad, Managing Director HDFC Ltd. and Mr. V S Rangan, Chairman of The HDFC Education Board along with the HEADS Team, Board members dignitaries from the HDFC group. The children interacted with Mr. Parekh, Ms. Karnad, and enthusiastically talked about how and what they were learning. The walk -through atelier showcasing student’ art work drew admiration of one and all. Mr. Parekh also addressed the educators congratulating them for the good work that they have been doing and shared insightful thoughts on how educators need to focus on love of learning, love of learners and the love of bringing the two together. Concluding his speech with an inspiring message for teachers to invest in their learning, he kindled the spirit of an awakener in them.
