We at the HDFC School are aware of the importance of reading books. But have you ever wondered what draws the students to pick them up?
A book cover is the book’s billboard, and it has the power to create expectations
In light of this, The HDFC School, Gurgaon, organized a book cover activity for Grades I and II. The students showcased their creativity by
making mesmerizing illustrations of their chosen books. Our little learners turned into graphic designers for the day where the thought process,
accuracy, and love were all readily apparent. It was delightful to witness the students create colourful book covers and express themselves confidently.
The objective of such activity is to attract children towards books, and acknowledge book covers as a crucial tool to foster the love for reading.
