To instill the values of benevolence and philanthropy, The HDFC School, Gurgaon organized ‘Artopia’ and ‘Diwali Exhibition’ on 15 October.
The event ‘Artopia’ was an initiative of the Cultural Committee of the school to generate funds for a primary school being run for
underprivileged children in Gurugram. The students of Grades VI-VIII contributed flower pots and planted saplings which were then put
up for sale. The drive served a two-fold purpose of helping the children in need by simultaneously dispersing the message to go green and plant more trees.
The Diwali Exhibition was nothing less than a wonder where the students of the Learning Center showcased their talent in
‘The Space of Creativity’ and beautifully crafted various Diwali items. They decorated diyas, ornamental elephants, birds,
candles and many more things. These splendid pieces were adorned with mesmerizing decorations and love which allured everyone.
The joy of Diwali festival doubled with these events in the school which gave a social message of kindness and recognition to the talents of the students.
