After a 3 year hiatus due to covid, the HDFC School, Gurugram hosted its second inter house basketball tournament on 11th November 2022 in the new school auditorium. 5 house teams full of competitive spirit and vigor gave their all to win the tournament over the course of 5 matches. The first to clash were Vasundhara and Vayu, resulting in an early departure for Vayu house. Agni and Neer had the next match where Agni won by (point difference), Securing their place in the finals. Next up were Vasundhara and Amber. Dhruv Sood from Amber gave a spectacular performance, scoring all 23 points for his team winning the game 23-10 and moving up to the finals. With the stage set for both teams, Agni and Amber started the finals with Agni earning 6 points in the first half. Amber was not one to be left behind though, as they caught up to Agni in the second half, leading to a nail-biting Golden Basket with which Amber completed their unbelievable comeback and brought home the victory.
