Microsoft Educators Summit 2023, held on the theme - Artificial Intelligence for good, was attended by our educators Ms. Priyanka Singh, Ms. Sucheta Mamtani, and Dr. Jagriti Gautam. Some important questions like how AI could help tackle global issues, and whether we can go any far without it, and various Microsoft tools were discussed to make teaching-learning more interesting, and meaningful. Our educators presented their business ideas for the “AI for Good” Initiative and were awarded appreciation certificates for presenting their ideas. Further, our team of teachers and students collaborated globally with Vietnam schools to raise awareness. This team comprised students: Vihaan Singh from Grade VII, Advitya Kawatra from Grade VIII, Anant, and Hunar from Grade IX. The team worked on the issue of waste management and created a tech-enabled dustbin known as SortBin which segregates the dry, wet, and biodegradable waste automatically based on Arduino Sensors. The team aims to pitch the product to government organizations to help in waste decomposition.
