A true entrepreneur is a doer, not a dreamer.
The HDFC School in association with Think Startup organised an entrepreneurship fest. The students of grades six to eight participated with great enthusiasm and showcased their ideas and collaboration skills.
As our world changes, so must the education of our students. Entrepreneurship is a topic that is growing in demand for students. This will teach them the principles and challenges of growing and running their own businesses and many of the secondary skills that go along with that.
Creating their own source of finance is appealing to young, ambitious teens. Small businesses are an asset to any economy.
The aim of this skill based program was to facilitate creativity and to develop a focus on social, economic and environmental responsibility and sustainability.
The students brainstormed several problems around them and came up with innovative ideas to solve the problems and showcased their business ideas.
It was definitely an exercise in developing grit and perseverance in students and facilitating a range of leadership skills.
