After two years of pandemic induced restrictions, the much-awaited staff picnic of The HDFC School, Gurugram was organised on 13 March 23. We travelled to the “Pratapgarh Farms’, an agro-tourism destination located in Jhajjar. Led by the Principal, educators from Pre-Primary, Primary, Middle and Senior schools, along with the administrative staff, joined this fun & frolic filled outdoor day trip. Despite a fairly long road journey, the josh of staff members was motivating. Impromptu song and dance gigs, relentlessly covered by the enthusiastic inhouse photographers, topped up with with loads of laughter and snack gorging sessions en route, remained the order of the day.
Scrumptious regional delicacies, ranging from aloo paratha with white butter, to aloo-puri with jalebi-rabri, and street food for breakfast followed by engaging activities viz. dance floor, magic show continued through the day! Needless to say, all of this was continuously accompanied with endless sessions of uncensored chit-chat!
The day went by rather fast amidst the multitude of fabulous activities! Finally, It was time to wrap up and head back to the din and bustle of Gurugram. We all were tired, but spirited laughter and jokes continued unabated. Once we reached back the school, it was time to say ‘bye’ to each other.
