We, at The HDFC School, Gurgaon aim to indulge our children with quintessential life skills, a high emotional quotient, and a sound set of values that will help them seize good stead and prosper in the future.
To inspire active parent participation and give a sneak peek into the Kindergarten philosophy, an Orientation Program was organized for the new Parents at The HDFC School, Gurgaon.
Education Leader and Principal, Mrs. Anita Makkar, highlighted the fact that Kindergarten is the most glorious period of a child’s life.
Formative years help in concocting habits and attitudes and serve as a foundation for the child~s development.
The event shed light on the school’s creative curriculum which focuses on experiential learning and self-initiated projects.
The parents were apprised of the innovative pedagogies followed by the school catering to the holistic development of the child. They were also enlightened about the school’s philosophy on ‘Thematic and Integrated Approach’ to make learning a pleasurable experience.
The session concluded on a high note with an exhibition of a video called “The Push” highlighting the message of encouraging children to grow and fly with their wings and let children explore their world with just a gentle push from parents and educators.
