‘’The hands that rock the cradle are the hands that shape the world’’ is a proverb that manifests
the power of motherhood and how it can bring about sweeping changes across generations.
To honour and celebrate the everlasting bond of love and affection Grades I and II of The HDFC School, Gurgaon celebrated Mothers Day.
The celebration began with video compilations of the student’s heart-warming messages to their mothers. Trailing it was a spectacular dance
performance on ‘’Mai Teri Chunar” song and a heartfelt song ‘’ A Gift to You’’. The stellar performances was rejoiced by everyone and left
the mothers utterly emotional. To cherish this special bond, mother-children duos decorated one of their most memorable pictures into a creatively
stunning picture frame. The children gifted hand painted t-shirts to their mothers and further surprised them with the coupons which they could
avail and further enjoy their day. The elated mothers shared their appreciation and made the children feel special by singing melodies and expressing
their emotions through dance performances. They were swamped by their wards efforts, which indeed was impassioned. The celebrations came to a successful
fruition with a dancing jam session.
Heart-warming feelings filled the air with gratitude ,appreciation and acknowledgement which was well received by the mothers.
All in all, it was a memorable day for mother and child which left an indubitable mark on everyone’s hearts.
