Description :
‘Storytelling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world today.’ —Robert McKee.
Stories are magic, and children’s love for stories is innate. Apart from transporting children to a world of fantasy, stories are an integral part of language.
They encourage the use of imagination and creativity and enhance listening skills in children.
The Literary Week celebrations at The HDFC School, culminated with a storytelling session for Grades II-V conducted by the distinguished
children~s story writer and a renowned raconteur, Ms. Rituparna Ghosh. Her riveting style of storytelling spellbound the young audience and
they soon drifted into the fantasy world woven by the storyteller. Doodling while listening to the story and illustrating the story in variety
of ways made the experience unique and unforgettable for the children. The atmosphere of play and creative expression was thoroughly enjoyed
and cherished by the students.
