To inculcate the Scientific temperament and imbibing the experiential learning, a two-day workshop was conducted on 3rd and 4th
July 2023 by Ms. Vandana Banga, CBSE Resource Person, CBSE Mentor Trainer in the HDFC School, Gurugram. The session was attended by
the Science teachers of Grades III- XII across all branches of the HDFC family.
In the session, discussions were conducted on various topics like how to engage the 21st Century learners in the classroom, the common
misconceptions, and the art of teaching Science. The planning of a science lesson keeping in mind the SMART goals and PCC format was an
interesting part of the session. All the teachers were also engaged in some amazing hands-on activities which would aid them furthermore
to bring spark in the Science classrooms, thus making the teaching-learning process more effective.
It was an enriching and engaging session which will bring a valuable change in the Science classrooms where learners will comprehend in a
better way to try their hands on many new scientific creations through experiential learning.
