Amidst the bustling streets and vibrant markets, one group of individuals quietly plays a vital role in nourishing communities and cultivating a healthier
society - the humble vegetable vendors. Their stall showcases an array of colorful and vibrant produce highlighting the significance of nutritious food.
To reinforce the health benefits of fruits and vegetables, a greengrocer’s visit was organized in The HDFC School, Gurgaon’s Preprimary School on 14th July 2023.
The vegetable vendor skillfully arranged the vegetables, organizing them by their type and size, creating an inviting visual appeal for the students.
He also shared his knowledge about different vegetable products and how he selects the best quality items for his customers. Children had a fun-filled
experience and great exposure of selling and buying vegetables and fruits directly from the vendor.
With a wide variety of vegetables neatly displayed, the vendor exuded an air of freshness and vitality. Vegetable vendors play a crucial role in promoting
healthy eating habits by providing fresh and nutritious produce to communities. Their presence ensures easy access to a wide variety of vegetables,
encouraging individuals to include them in their daily diet.
The students’ minds and hearts brimmed with newfound knowledge and appreciation. They carried with them a lasting connection to the world of fresh
and nutritious produce.
