An Interschool Football Tournament for grades 1&2 was organized by The HDFC School Gurgaon on 16 February, 2024. Teams from the different schools of Gurgaon were invited to strive against each other where 13 teams enthusiastically participated to showcase their budding talent on the field, and made the event a big success.
The event kicked off with an exciting opening ceremony, where the young players paraded onto the field, donning their colorful school- team jerseys. The air buzzed with excitement as teachers and fellow students cheered on the aspiring football stars.
The young athletes demonstrated remarkable agility, coordination, and teamwork as they dribbled, passed, and scored goals. The spectators were treated to moments of pure joy and excitement as these little kickers showcased their developing soccer skills.
As the tournament progressed, the intensity of the matches heightened, leading to an electrifying finale between Team DAV Sec 14 and DPS 45. Team DPS 45 bagged the winner’s trophy and displayed exceptional determination and skill, captivating the audience with their passion for the game.
The closing ceremony celebrated the achievements of all participants, with awards presented for outstanding performance, most promising talents, and sportsmanship.
