IT ALL STARTS WITH US-Leadership Development in Education
The HDFC School hosted a workshop On March 23, 2024 on Leadership Development in Education, facilitated by Mr. Abhishek Kumar Gupta, an esteemed Life Coach and trainer. The workshop aimed to equip all teaching staff with valuable insights and strategies to enhance their leadership skills in the educational context.
The workshop commenced with an engaging presentation by Mr. Abhishek Gupta, who shared his expertise on various aspects of leadership in education. Throughout the session, participants actively participated in discussions and practical activities designed to foster leadership development.
One of the standout activities of the workshop was a simulation exercise inspired by the popular television show "Shark Tank." In this activity, groups of teachers were tasked with creating and pitching innovative ideas or proposals for the school to a panel of "sharks." Each group had to present a compelling pitch, highlighting the potential benefits and feasibility of their idea.
Through the "Shark Tank" activity, participants exercised their critical thinking skills, evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of their proposals and refining their strategies based on feedback. The exercise encouraged innovative thinking and strategic planning.
The workshop emphasized the role of teachers as leaders within the school community. Participants explored ways to inspire and motivate their colleagues, fostering a culture of leadership and continuous improvement.
