Yoga is a great practice for both the body and the mind, it offers peace and mindfulness and helps to get through daily stress. In order to promote a healthy and spiritual atmosphere, the school encourages the students to participate in various physical activities.
The students of The HDFC School displayed their talent by participating in the “4th Haryana State Yoga Championship 2024” held at the Bright Career Sr. Sec. School, Raiya Jhajjar on March 29, 2024
More than 23 schools took part in this event with over 200 participants.
11 students of our school who participated in the events of different groups namely The Group Artistic Yoga and the Traditional Individual Yoga Asanas brought laurels and accolades to the school by winning 6 Gold medals and 5 silver medals. A sincere congratulations to all the achievers listed below who left no stone unturned in order to make these events a huge success.
• Kashika Bansal, Dhruvika Hazarika of Grade V and Kavya of Grade III, won gold medals in Under 11 Artistic Yoga Category.
• Tenaya Cyrelle D’Souza and Mehar Thakran of VI A won Gold Medal in Under- 11 Artistic Yoga
• Chandrakshi Singh of VII A won Gold Medal in Individual Yoga Asanas
• Avikaa Gulati of VII D won Silver Medal, Aalya Arora of VII D won Silver Medal, and Mannat Yadav of VII B won Silver Medal, in Under-15 Artistic Group
