Quizzing, in its various forms, plays a significant role in educational, social, and professional contexts. In order to sharpen the intellectual prowess of the students, the HDFC School in collaboration with Quizmaster Mr Arindam Bhattacharya was organized on 22 April, 2024 for grades V-XI. The orientation session on quizzing was organized to introduce participants to the world of quizzing, its importance, and provide them with essential tips and strategies to excel in quizzes.
The students were tested with a beginners level Diagnostic Quiz that had 35 questions covering current affairs, books, movies, science and technology, sports etc. The students will be groomed and mentored by Mr Arindam throughout the year to participate in all Inter-School and Intra School Quiz competitions. Overall, the session served as a foundation for fostering a culture of quizzing and intellectual curiosity among participants, empowering them to excel in both academic and recreational pursuits. Embracing quizzing as an integral part of educational curricula, social gatherings, and professional development initiatives can unlock a wealth of opportunities for personal and collective growth.
