In the kitchen, aprons tied,

Little hands, so full of pride.

Flour dusting, sugar sweet,

Together, we create a tasty treat.

Empowering children through baking skills goes beyond the simple act of mixing ingredients. It fosters a sense of independence, creativity, and accomplishment. As they measure flour, sieve the mixture and whisk the batter, children develop fine motor skills and mathematical concepts in a hands-on, enjoyable way.

Baking also encourages patience and perseverance as they wait for their creations to rise and bake to perfection. At THE HDFC School, our little Kindergarten learners mastered the baking skills through this hands on activity on the special occasion of “Mother’s Day”. This activity helped students to develop confidence and instilled a sense of pride in their abilities, nurturing lifelong skills and a love for creating delicious treats.
