We Support Goal 15 - Protecting Life on Land
Sustainable Development Goals cannot be achieved without involving kids .Kids play a very important role in spreading the message so that we act together
to achieve all the goals by 2030 and make our planet a better place. Realizing the climate action and how today’s environment is affecting everyone on
Land the pre- primary students of The HDFC School Pune presented an assembly on the topic SDG goal no 15 “Life on Land” delivering a strong message on
how small measures by every individual can help us achieve this Goal.
Students of UKG E enacted different characters like Tree, Jungle, pollution, owl, monkey, sparrow, Earth, Penguin and humans.
They expressed how acts like deforestation, use of harmful radiations and excessive use of plastic, cutting of Trees for building houses and
malls have an impact on them. The assembly delivers a strong message that is to learn to coexist with other creatures on the planet.
They also took an opportunity to emphasize small efforts and contributions one can make to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases.
The kids have given an important message to everyone as to how we can stop these acts which are resulting in Global warming and are a serious threat to our planet.
This assembly was undoubtedly a result of the immense efforts put together by students, parents and their teachers. It was surely a significant and meaningful assembly.
