Date of event:
November - 2022
Description :
Grade V IDP Term Presentation was scheduled on Tuesday, 22 November. The project was performed within the context of The HDFC School
interdisciplinary project to challenge students to create sustainable solutions for life on land, using the SDG-15 as a reference frame.
Students gave presentation of their projects in front of parents. In the end there was a good interaction with parents discussing
about the importance of SDG in our lives.
Students were benefited from the experience of building and implementing their own interdisciplinary SDG projects while collaborating
all the subjects with multiple factors. Using design thinking methodology, students developed entrepreneurial skills and gained team
building experience as part of this project by learning how to develop their own sustainable development initiative.
In doing so, they took part in identifying clear project goals and objectives, conducting research, and evaluating impact.
By working in groups on concrete projects for Science and SST, students gained concrete project management experience,
in addition to a broad knowledge of the challenges and opportunities related to the SDGs to achieve the UN 2030 Agenda.
