Parental involvement can be aptly described as the active and ongoing participation of a parent or primary caregiver in the education process of their child. The best predictor of student success is the extent to which families encourage learning at home and involve themselves in their child’s education. When parents are engaged in their children’s school lives, students have the home support and knowledge they need to not only finish their assignments, but also develop a lifelong love of learning.
Keeping in mind the benefits of such a parental partnership, we at The HDFC School Pune have always encouraged our Parents to be a part of their child’s educational journey. Be it a story telling session or an encouraging talk, a talent show or a Fashion show, we believe that student success is a shared interest of both school and family, we envision our parents as partners in this learning process.
